"You are no Dragon"

Films: Red Dragon (2002)

Alias: The Tooth Fairy, the Great Red Dragon

Type: Natural

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Hannibal Lecter is one of the most devious serial killers in all of cinema, with an unpredictable intelligence and a sophistication that brings all others to shame as he carves a path of destruction. But Lecter's hardly the only serial killer in his world. Far from it. Just look at the disaster known as Francis Dolarhyde.

History: Francis' early life was awful, to say the least. His grandmother regularly abused him, he had no friends, and as time went on, he became convinced that he was being possessed by the "Great Red Dragon", a delusional evil side of him that he created to cope. This ended up turning him into a two-faced serial killer often known as "the Tooth Fairy" due to how he'd leave bite marks on his many, many victims. Every death, according to him, helps him slowly evolve into becoming the Dragon. But now, he's trying out love for a change, and it could work...if his violent tendencies AND Lecter's own influence don't catch up first...

Notable Kills: He leaves bite marks on his dead victims. What do you want?

Final Fate: Unable to hold back the Red Dragon any longer after an unsuccessful suicide, Francis ends up almost killing both his love and the family of Lecter's nemesis, Will Graham. Then Graham's wife shoots Francis dead. Lecter soon sends Graham a letter congratulating him for taking down the Tooth Fairy.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Insults to children cause him to lose focus to rage due to it being a reminder of his past. Also, anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-Tragic backstories are nothing new to murderers, but it is painful to see a man like this try so hard to hold back his monstrous dark side, only to fail completely and let some nightmarish killing methods take over. Indeed, one shudders to imagine what would happen if Lecter and Francis actually teamed up for anything. That is, if Lecter actually liked him in the end.

Trivia: -Francis' evil persona is based entirely on William Blake's series of paintings based around the Great Red Dragon, a monstrous demon most likely meant to represent the Devil.

-In the 2013 series, "Hannibal", Francis serves as the final antagonist of the series. He retains a lot of the tragedy of the original, but is many times stronger, and gets taken out by a lethal tag-team between Lecter and Graham.

This is probably how he thought you study for tests. Just eat the paper!
And meet the Red Dragon a second time. Ever saw Manhunter?

Hurts, doesn't it?
